Makar Novikov “Long Journey”

Makar’s songs carry titles that seem to tell his own story: „Emergency Exit“, „Free Fall“, „Desert Island“. Yet, even in the light of personal and political upheavals, you can always hear a sense of hope and optimism in his music, an honest and touching longing for beauty.

Rooted in energetic grooves and original melodies, Makar’s music strives to bring people together, offering open-minded, danceable Modern Jazz. «Long Journey», the debut album of the quintet will be released on Rainy Days Records in Fall 2025.
